Meet the clan

Our little Angel

Our little Riley is not so little anymore. He is growing everyday. I love to him change but I am sad to see my baby grow up. He has been such a blessing in our home. He came just when we needed him. Watching the kids with him confirms to me that we were a family in heaven before this life because they knew him the day he was born and he knew them. They were waiting for him to come home! He is starting to play with things and he's become quite the grabber. He loves being outside and going for rides in the stroller. I am excited to see what's next.

Our little princess

Here is our little princess Morgan. She is all girl and loves to be pretty. She is really into wearing dresses and fancy shoes these days. She says she is going to be a vet when she grows up and I believe her. She loves animals! She has quite the attitude and can be pretty bossy, but underneath it all she is just as sweet as she looks. I love when I get time with just me and her. She says we are BFFs. She has been so great with Riley. She loves him to pieces. Without her knowing I will watch her with him and she will sing to him and play games with him. He loves time with his big sis.

Our little golfer

Traycin has really turned into a good kid. He loves to golf and says he can't be better than Tiger Woods if he doesn't practice. He still loves legos and building things. His mind is always working. He has been such a good big brother to Riley. I can always count on him to help out. Riley watches him and loves his attention. He has also become quite the swimmer. He is always trying to do better and loves to see what tricks he can do. We are super proud of him!

Key West Florida

It's a race to the finish line!
Random turtle on the street?
Oh it's a pet
Poor Riley has to be part of this joke!
The southern most tip of the U.S.

There is Grass in Miami!

Yeah! we found a park just around the corner from our apartment. Apparently the swings are for kids not Traycin's size!
Riley is not quite sure about the swings yet.

Our Little Apartment in the City

We were sad to leave our home in Idaho, but we are having fun here in Miami. Our apartment isn't much to look at but it's walking distance to the beach and we have our own pool so who can complain. We miss our yard and our neighbors, but we have made some new friends here and we will get lots of mom time!  It's a summer we will never forget and before we know it we will be back home in Idaho with a great tan!

The kids room. Sharing is an adjustment.
Los banos!
Dinner anyone?
Ah! The view.

Our humble living room
Welcome to apartment 506 building 3
You would think that after going up and down on the elevators five times a day they would stop fighting over who gets to push the buttons. No so! It's a battle every time! Maybe by the end of the summer they will have had their fill of button pushing.

Miami Metro Zoo

Although we are glad to have the pool and the beach at our fingertips, we decided to venture out and visit the Miami Zoo. With mapquest directions in hand we (Morgan, Riley, Traycin, and Lacey) headed out on our 35 mile journey across Miami to our destination. We made it there and back safely much to Heath's delight and had a wonderful day meeting all the animals. Note to self, do not let your kids wear new flip flops on a field trip which involves a lot of walking.

Riley meets Jeri the Giraffe
Yes, this elephant is orange. Who ever knew there were orange elephants?
Traycin meets Diego. (he was a little too large for Morgan to get close to)
I guess he's had it for the day

It's a cheetah girl

This is my favorite picture of the day

Watch out for the hippos!
What a little poser

What a pair

Happy Birthday Dad!

Sorry Morg, but I may use this picture one day as leverage!
